Where can I buy a copy of this? This is my favorite disco song ever, just love the music in there and the way Donna's voice goes along with the synthesized, floaty track. Anyway, I'm trying to find any remix of I Feel Love I can, especially the Crowley remix.
Actually it is Patrick Cowley, not Crowley. It's a common mistake.
I don't know if you have a turntable, but it is available on e-bay many times.
If you live in New York City, you can go to Rock And Soul at 462 Seventh Ave. in Manhattan.

They have it on re-issue on Ballroom Records. It is labeled I Feel Love Remix. It is the Patrick Cowley version.
On CD, it is available on a compilation called Absolutely Fabulous. But, it is probably available on other compilation CD's.

Oh, it was the HI-NRG Classics CD I was thinking of. It has Absolutely Fabulous on it.
Thank you for the save Bernie.
Are you looking for any particular or specific mixes of I FEEL LOVE besides the Patrick Cowley Mix, e.g., the Rollo & Sister Bliss Monster Mix to name an example? Are you interested in cover versions of I FEEL LOVE by other atists as well?
I have the Patrick Cowley mix on vinyl, my second favourite mix of that track is the Qttara remix.
It's really hot - stop!!! Saaaay: Magnifique!
I'm looking for the Patrick Cowley Mega Mix, the 15 minute long one. I'd take other mixes of I Feel Love but only with Donna Summer singing it. No one did it better.
Also, did Cowley do some spacey, cosmic type instrumental songs back around 79-80? Been dying to try and find one instrumental with a ding-ding-ding-da-ding ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Da-da-ding. Da-da-ding. Da-da-ding, ding, ding. Followed by thumping bass and then repeats itself. Synthesizers galore in the song. Mighta been even around 81 or 82.
You are thinking Megatron Man by Patrick Cowley.
Now I'm thinking that is the one. Where can I listen to a clip of it? I usually go to Amazon but they don't have the 30 second sample.
Does anyone have the I Feel Love remix? I'll buy it.
It usually crops up a lot on Ebay, but can go for silly money - I found one here for you...eBay.co.uk: DONNA SUMMER I FEEL LOVE 12" 15 MINUTE VERSION (item 320115475216 end time 27-May-07 17:49:08 BST)
Funnily I am playing it on my show this Saturday - the 8 minute 'B' Side. :icon_cool:

I don't have a record player. Is there somewhere I can get a CD?
There are a few good & new club mixes on a DJ Mix (Promo) on cd:
Donna Summer:
1. I Feel Love (D. Howells Mix) 11:14
2. Qattara Mix 7:02
3. Donna Summer vs Green Velvet 7:39
4. Ultimate Disco Megamix 11:56
5. A mid-summer nights medley 12:02
6. Disconet Megamix 17:24
Good luck!

Where would I buy this CD?
Perhaps on ebay or have you tried Trax in London?

That Rollo & Sister Bliss remix is great!!! I first heard it on the "100 % pure dance" comp Cd from the 90's, I liked it so much , that I went out to find the CD single , and finally found one later at the Local (defunct now) Virgin Store.:icon_razz:
But I also need to find the "Cowley" mix to check out all the praise I’ve heard since the Net came along, because I don't remember it at all:icon_confused:.
This remix was released twice on the Disconet service, so I'm hoping to have it somewhere or maybe the '82 Casablanca release, which cover is not familiar to me either. :icon_confused:
Mix - as far as I'm aware the Disconet & Casablanca release are one & the same! Cowley remixed it for Disconet, then it was released by Casablanca after - hitting the Top 20 here in the UK. It's 15 minutes of pure heaven, although....................I have to say the transition from the original vocal to the more modern Cowley instrumental remix is somewhat noticable, however it doesn't detract from the overall anthemic quality.
Gotta admit the Rollo & Sister Monster Mix (Full length at 9:50) is storming too
If you wanna hear a further "update" of this classic check out The Plump DJ's remix from a couple of years back, adding yet another twist![]()
