This sucks, I can't manage to identify this cheezy Dracula disco track, can U help ?
It's in French & from around 1977-78

It's Gerri Bribosia - Dracula Disco...
Bribosia is a famous Canadian disco producer...that's why the track is sung in french..
The track is also available on 12" on Polydor Canada (1977)

Gerry Bribosia is the producer and performed the english version.
Voltaire is the artist for the french version, and vocals were performed by Alain Montpetit, the guy you hear on the above sample ...is a murderer.
Alain was a very popular DJ for Canada's first dedicated disco radio station CKMF in Montreal. Unfortunately, like several artists of the disco scene, he messed up his carreer with martinis and cocaine. So messed up that in early 80's, he managed to kill a well known french canadian top model living in Manhattan, NYPD could not identify a suspect. Later, he has apparently committed suicide with cocaine overdose and alcohol in an hotel room of Washington. 20 years later, NYPD linked Montpetit by DNA that he was the murderer.

Sad but interesting story ...

Montpetit dying of overdose was a disapointment
but it was a total shock to find out that he was the murderer of top model Marie Josee St.Antoine, an event that I recall too well in the medias.
I was a fan of Montpetit during the disco era. :icon_confused:
