    1974/1975 Billboard Charts

Since listening to Lary Sanders mixes a few weeks ago, I have started studying the '74/75 charts that Marky typed up a while back. What an excellent resource. Thank you Marky.

A lot of the songs on the tape are mentioned in the charts.

I had to print them out because I find it hard to read online.

    why thanks nrg.

That was my intention, providing a place where you could go look it up. I think I need an index by title, however. :icon_rolleyes::icon_idea: But, if you look at the whole list of songs [the countdown from #1 to #4OO-something]] at the end of the post...you can find every title and the weeks it charted.

Which are the Lary Sanders songs on tape, BTW???

    I'd love to know...

Songs on the tape that I can recall:

    "Express"
    "Shame, Shame, Shame"
    "Ask Me"
    "Lady Marmalade"
    "Where Is The Love"
    "Where Are All My Friends"
"Guilty" and "The Player " by 1st Choice
"Reach Out I'll Be There" by Gloria Gaynor and another version I don't recognize.
    "Real Good People"
    "It's A Miracle"
    "Hijack" Herbie Mann
    "Tell Me What You Want"
    "I'll Be Holding On"
"Love Don't Go Through No Changes On Me"
"You're My First, My Last, My Everything"

Plus several I don't recognize and some I can't remember off the top of my head.

Those were all big hits in the late 1974- early 1975 era. I have all those... curious if there's any more obscure titles???? Is there a track listing??? Did someone mention this in another thread???

Marky, I'm not aware of a track listing. I posted a couple of the more obscure songs in the song ID section. Perhaps you or someone else can identify.

Just found out the name of another obscure song on the tape.

It is "Wake Up and Start Standing" by The Younghearts.
