..but let us be grateful for such performances as "Vertigo", the entry from Malta. Leopard prints will never be entirely gone but to witness such an almost Dschinghis Khan-caliber display of hilarity is all too rare these days. Of course it did not make to the finals, but to see both dj Bobo and that Danish drag queen drop was a bit of a surprise. Thank god we'll get to view the Turkish troupe in action again tonight, though.

Scooch...hmmm aren't they a knock off of Steps or better yet a wannabe version of them? Also who else is entering in Eurovision? Is there a sight that has all the entries....Ok the only people I like out of Eurovision were Abba, Brotherhood Of Man, and Bucks Fizz...I know ick...right?

Eurovision is one of my guilty pleasures too! The block voting of the Eastern European countries really does spoil the the enjoyment. It was shame that no Western European countries came through the semi-finals. (particularly Belgium ). Anyway I did predict the eventual winner and four of the top five. I didn't get the Ukraine entry and can't still fathom why it did well.

I must admit I love the Ukranian entry from Verka Serduchka. And their performance was off the hook! Scooch were cool but Serduchka completely out-camped them.

I wasn't so crazy about Marija Serifovic's winning song but there's an NRG remix floating around the internet that's not bad at all.
