You won't get any arguments from me!

The record that REALLY turned me onto the band was 'Foxy Lady'. I remember many a DJ night trying to remember exactly when it would end ( a great cold ending) in order to segue into the next by catching the very last on beat. When I was half drunk or whatever else, that could be challenging some nights.

I also still remember how Galaxy Of Love took the UK discos by storm and just that memory invokes a warm feeling.

Fantastic band.....one of the very best.

I remember hearing Galaxy of Love for the first time in mid/late 1977. I was a teenager at the time , and went to a 'Disco Night' in North London hosted by Greg Edwards, the legendary DJ on Capital Radio and he played this track. Spookily it features in my radio show this week on Saturday. The other CHA track worth mentioning is Say A Prayer For Two. One of my all time favourites!

Gotta agree..they made some great tracks. 'You Gave Me Love ' was one I used to go nuts to amd the aforementioned 'Every Beat Of My Heart' and Galaxy Of Love" are personal favourites!

There's a later one "I'll Do Anything" on SBK which is a house track and sounds a bit like Ten City without the falsetto. Did it get a US release?

Guys, I am also a big fan of CHA :icon_biggrin:
In my opinion they were one of disco's unrecognized heavy hitters.
Along with the songs mentioned here, my other favorites include:

    Far Out
    Use Your Body And Soul
    French Way
    Sexy Ways
    Say A Prayer For Two
    Find them and destroy them!

Most definitely "Dreaming a Dream", both the vocal and the disco versions, & "You gave me love", such powerful tracks!... "Number one woman" and "The Hot Rock" also kick ass.

I never understood why they re-released their first LP, "Dreaming a dream", under the name "Foxy Lady", with a different cover... Marketing? Copyright? Huh?

Dreaming A Dream, Foxy Lady, Dancin, all great tracks. Galaxy Of Love - is it just me, or does this sound like a cut and paste job? Sections of the song seem to be mixed differently for some reason. Maybe they tried alternate mixes, and decided to just combine the variations into one master version?

I've also been turned onto their pre-Dreaming A Dream album on RCA from '74. It's not really disco, more funk a la New Birth/Nite Liters. But its interesting to hear them before they became hard core disco players.

That depends on which version came out first. If it was Foxy Lady, then I could see them changing it to Dreaming A Dream to cash in on the popularity of the single of the same name.

I always liked 'Tell Me What To Do' from '82; I used to think that Madonna pinched the horn hook for her 'Open Your Heart'. Nothing's original I s'pose!
