    Ray Parker Jr. And Raydio

    Hey,

Can anyone tell me if: It's Time To Party Now was ever made on 12 inch version?

Not that I remember. In fact, I can't think of any extended versions of Raydio's dance hits, but there should be some. Maybe the LP versions were pretty long already, very mixable.

I guess "For those who like to groove" would have made a nice extended version, but for some reason the 12" -according to Bernie's database- has the same duration that the LP version.
It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)

There was indeed an extended 12" remix which was only released as a US Arista promo. It also got a UK 12" release in 1980

It was released on an 1980 Arista Promo clocking at 6:45, it sold for $152.00 on Ebay last time I saved an auction for it on 6/25/01, don't know what it goes for now..:icon_confused:

    Gee!

I’ve almost gave up on any hope for a reply.

    Thanks for the info.

I like this song but not to the extent of spending $150 on the 12 Inch…
