Jeanie Tracy - Time Bomb / Betty Wright - Cinderella

I'd love to find these two tracks on CD, but I'm finding it a little difficult.
I was reminded of them by seeing the Rams Horn thread, as I have them both on vinyl on Rams Horn.

    Any ideas/advice?

You might find these two tracks on a blanco y negro compilation. I recently spotted the Studio 54, Vol. 3 cd and that Time Bomb track was part of the tracklisting. I didnt' buy the cd and I do not know if it's the full version. Good luck!

Thanks for the help, my friend.
I think the Studio 54 CDs are mixed, or at least segued in some way. I'm really after the full versions. :icon_biggrin:

That's what I thought. I tried to help. Sorry! :icon_redface:

As for the Sinderella track, you might find the full version on an EMI Japan release. They issue many mixes of 80's stuff as you will know, e.g., Dancemania. The "Club The Earth Disco Classics" cd contains "unmixed" tracks I believe and Betty Wright's Sinderella is one of the tracks on that cd.

I'm sure Timebobm was on one the Megatone Cd compilations but not sure which one. They're a bit hard to find as well so you might need to hunt around Ebay or Gemm. I do have an mp3 of it if you need it. Betty Wright not so sure if that ever made it onto cd

The 6:10 version of Time Bomb is on the 12 by 12---Megaton Classics Vol.2 CD, but it is very rare nowadays. I don't think Cinderella is on any CD, especially its extended version is not available at all.

I don't want to impose on you, but would you be so kind as to look up the Dancemania cd "Club - The Earth - Disco Classics" on the Toshiba EMI webpage in Japan? The catalogue number is TOCP-64087, but I don't read or speak Japanese. Does the Japanese description say if the Sinderella track is mixed or if it's the full version?

Thanks for your help. It does seem impossible to find.

I checked out some Japanese website. Unfortunately the CD seems non-stop mix, so tracks are all segued:icon_sad:
Dancemania DATA CLUB THE EARTH DISCO CLASSICS

Dancemania series are mixed in most cases although the track choice is good. I also have long been looking for a CD with Sinderella in vain, so I burnt it on CDR from my 12''. The tune is really nice.

    Hi,
don't know if this info is of any use:icon_rolleyes:

Gerrit at melodymaker in holland sells D.j. Baco & D.j.Saco - In the mix vol 1 which has both Jeanie Tracy - Time Bomb and Betty Wright - Sinderella (remix) on.
I know you were after full versions and not mixes but each mix plays for over an hour so perhaps not too much is lost on each track. some other good stuff on them too!

(Don't know what happened to D.j. craco LOL) :icon_lol:

I am very interested in the DJ mix. However, as I have bought many hi-nrg CDs from Melodymaker, they don't have a good communication, I think.:icon_sad: No quick reply to my inquiries about stock and shipment in most cases.

Anyway, I will check it out and try to purchase it. Thank you for your information.
