    Hi Giovanni,

I used to go to a great one on 6th and 24th on weekends, but apparently it's gone now. You can try to see if the one or two that were on Canal near B'way are still there. Another was on the Upper West Side around 86th and Amsterdam in the school yard. It's been ages since I went to any of these, but give them a shot.

The one on 6th and 24th has moved to 9th Ave and 39th street(in Manhattan).

The cold weather has kept the number of vendors down, so it can be "hit or miss" for a couple of more weeks.

Although, last week, a lady was giving records away free. Among the many new-old gems I picked up was a promo copy of B.C.G.(Bob Crewe Generation) "Street Talk", and the original release(different cover and edits) of Evelyn "Champagne" King's Smooth Talk lp.

Now I've let the cat out of the bag.

Check out the Street Fairs also. Record vendors do work them too.

    For Giovanni and anybody else,

One of my regular vinyl dealers just mailed me his schedule for the spring. His prices are good and he has them by genre and in alphabetical order.

He used to carry a few boxes of 12 inches, but I don't know if he still does that. But he does have a lot of r&b, soul, funk, and disco lps. He also sells rock, pop, jazz, and soundtracks.
