." One of the many things I love about this song is that even though the title and the first two verses convince you it's about masturbation, they build deniability into the lyrics with lines like this:

Have always thought this song was about masturbation. Don't forget, it was written in the '50s. A time when double entendre was rife and a time when sexually explicit lyrics were a complete and utter no-no.
