Yes i agree totally, the multi track big sound was ahead of its time or maybe in its time to be progressive and move music forward.
I Really can't decide...maybe more with Cerrone? but I am sure we can all agree that both of these guys were way ahead of there time...with using 48 track recordings...truly Geniuses...EG

Listening @ home I would go for ol' Boris! A little more experimental! More to discover!
At the club I prefer Cerrone, more danceable IMO and more uplifting!
At Quinny's I would choose...ehmmmm...to leave as soon as possible! Before you know it, he drops the needle on "The Grumpy Ol' Men Soul Adventures"
I'm in agreement with VS. Boris Midney is thinking man's disco-good for driving or divulging in deep disco thought. Cerrone is made for dancing and getting lost in a magical trance.
"Everyone knows the real reason why you got that part it was the time you spent on that casting couch"--Antoine Merriwether
"Excuse me, Miss Thing, but both of us spent time on that couch"--Blaine Edwards
Boris Midney for me, way ahead of his time, building beautiful architectual disco. IMO
My favourite producers are Rinder & Lewis, but if I had to choose between Midney and Cerrone (I like both) , I think Cerrone has much better songs.
Alex R Costandinos is my Favorite but of those 2 I would choose CERRONE..........Although Boris is genius as well~!!
Cerrone - Quality dancefloor music since 1972
