Hate to say it, BUT great drums this is NOT.:icon_cry: There are only glimpses of when it all comes together and then it goes awfully awry. There's maybe 30 seconds in total where it actually works.
Very messy and terribly over-indulgent IMHO. A 70 piece Bateria Samba band, would sound more together.

Yes it's Madleen Kane's best drumshow. If you catch Cerrone's live-record from the late seventies or you watch the excerpts on the Culture-DVD, you'll see that he adds a little more and he is not just playbacking his studiowork.
Don't forget he started with Konga's, who's music was based on percussion and rhythm.
Disco Funk, I recognise parts of Anikana-o in it and Gimme some lovin' but I think it's a fusion of a few tracks!
