There is indeed an album, it was released on EMI... didn't do much for me, but then neither did the song.
I can give you more details when I get home.
Pamala Stanley had several more club hits:
"I Don't Want To Talk About It" (1983)
"Coming Out Of Hiding" (1984)
"If Looks Could Kill" (1985)
She retired to raise a family according to allmusic. They list a Greatest Hits CD with all these songs on it...but it doesn't appear to still be in print.
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
I remember Pamala's music well and still have all the records listed so far. Always liked her material especially "I Don't Want To Talk About It" on the Komander label. I also have a 12" by her sister Robin with a song called "Get Ready" on Oak Lawn from 1986. Check out Pamala's website at

My club booked her in 85 when she was doing the club circuit. Very nice lady. I can't remember if she was accompanied by her husband or her brother but he was very nice as well. A nice change from some of the horrors we had with acts we booked.
I remember Pamela came to perform at Newport Station in Orange County where I was the DJ for 8 years. (1976-1984)
She was excellent. I still have the EMI autographed LP.
Some of my favorites are:
Hey, Mr. Magic and That'll Be the day.
Always looking for remastered 12\" versions on CD
Can we get this straight? Is it 'Pamela' or 'Pamala'?
Pamala - all A's.
