He's "Free" at last.
Thank you Mr. Humphries.
He's "Free" at last.
Im quite sad at his departing, i hope he gets put on a big bright coloured chariot of grand fire!!.
Wasn't he a part of our youth? Who doesn't know him!!! Great character and without a doubt a very nice man!
I always loved this show and remember a number of episodes where he is regaling Mr. Lucas about his escapades from the night before at the Garden of Allah disco.( I think it was a real club: yes? anybody know?)
There is an episode where they all dress in 70's fashion and he wears green lame jacket and pants.
He was the first true openly gay/campy character on television. And funny as heck.
It sure is a 1936 movie with Marlène Dietrich:
And it surely existed as a Disco (for drags and gays) in the US and probably in London too!
