Sweet Jesus Help Me :)

Hi everyone, first post ever!

I have heard this song a couple of times in the past year a local station called mega oldies 97.9

I unfortunetly cant make out the lyrics because the voice is higher pitched and tough for me to make out. Yesterday I found a Disco Mix with part of the beat in the mix.

the songs beat in question goes from 9:23 to 9:38 on mix.

Im fairly sure this is a Disco song but i could be wrong. Either way i was hoping Disco / Oldies Music Veterans like yourself could help a dude out.

Is the beat that kicks in at 8:53 (up to 9:40) the intro to the Kano track, or a different one? If the latter, what is it? I know I know it, and I have the Kano track at home, but I won't have access for a couple of days, so I'd like to find out in advance... For those interested & wondering, what follows ("get up on this!") is Salt N'Peppa's "Push it".
