Does anyone know if there is a FUN FUN greatest hits compilation around which contains all their hits in the full length versions ?
I've tried to get a Fun Fun greatest hits, but with no luck. They made some great tracks, with my favourite being 'Baila Bolero'...a classy summery disco song.
There are several compilations of the most popular FUN FUN tracks. One of them is called "Best of" -- the cd has only the radio edits though.
You better look out for this one (on cd):
FUN FUN - Have Fun ... and more!
Give me your love 5:31
Sing another song 5:06
Tell me 4:57
Living in Japan 5:21
Colour my love 7:23
Give a little love again 7:07
Happy station 5:56
Fun Fun Mega hit mix 9:04
Happy station (scratch remix) 6:30 (was also released on a 12" under the name Italo Remix on High Fashion Music I believe - have it somewhere.)
Energy medley 11:17
Energy Megamix 8:50
There was a similar cd release on hot productions. It was called "The Best Of...".
Colour my love 7:40
Living in Japan 5:15
Give me your love 5:25
Baila Bolero 9:22

You can get 'em here...
ZYX MUSIC (No boot-legging here. They bought most of the rights and carry an extensive number of official Italo Disco released on CD)
and here...
fun fun - Music Store: Online shopping source for music and more at Tower Records / Tower.com
Depending on your location, ZYX is much cheaper if you live in Europe. I got almost all of my [CD] imports through Tower Records here in the states when they were brick-and-mortar, but you can still order it online.

There are two that I have; one on Blanco Y Negro (spain) and one on ZYX (germany).
Fact fans may be interested in this: I was visiting Sydney recently (like you do!) and of course, went vinyl hunting! I came across the Australian 12" of "Colour my love" in a totally unique picture sleeve that has individual pictures of the two girls with their names printed underneath (no mention that Ivana Spagna actually sings though!). Even though it states "Fun Fun" on the cover, the actual label states that the artists are "Fun Fun Fun". It's on Liberation records (as were Hazell Dean and Bananarama, as I found some of their old stuff there too plus the ozzie 12" "burning up" by Madonna!).
OK fact fans, til next time!
