Did your eyes glaze over and did you start to go into La La Land after #379 or thereabouts?:icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol: Especially with all the inaccuracies. At one point, even I started to believe Atmosphere had recorded Dancing In Outer Space, then (after a second or so) I remembered Brit band Atmosfear recorded it. That was just the start.
If these are his top 1000 picks, then one would have to question his taste.
If these are 1000 of the many 1000s he played as a DJ then you'd have to say.....so what? Hundreds or even thousands of DJs around the world probably played most of the self same records (and I suspect, some much better ones too).
Very few from the '70s compared to the '80s, why?
Am I the only person who finds these lists a somewhat bizarre concept?

this is a great source for searching out songs you never heard of, or never knew the name or artist for. Of course you old heads in the game own all this stuff, and have a tendency to not want to tell or not remember a lot of names and artists when put on the spot to identify something:icon_lol: (Case in point, until I joined this board, I had been running around with audio sample of "Malaguena" by Walter Murphy, for years, and couldn't find anyone who could tell me what it was) I've been gathering stuff from this list in particular for the last 3 or 4 years, and yes there are songs that I think are garbage, but that again is subjective, y'know, "one man's trash....etc" Even if Larry never played most of these songs, most are still worth owning.....

..might increase in value for your grandchildren, but ONLY if u let the youngsters know what IS BIG and not denigrate them for WANTING TO KNOW !!!.(or spread untruths about the ten copies of the Nolans 12" u have

Actually BITD it cost between £6 - £10 to get into the West End clubs. Cheaper in the 'burbs.
