What was the title/artist from the sample loop used in the Grand Master Flash hit "The Message?"

I'm not sure there was a sample used. I think it was original.

The closest in sound that it comes to, in my opinion, is Genius of Love by Tom Tom Club. But it isn't that.

Anybody else?

This is from the booklet that comes with the cd The Best Of Sugar Hill Records. Everything points to it being original.
