Hi All....Was just looking throught some old cassettes, and found one with some classic Hi-NRG tracks on it.
There was just one track on there which i just couldn't remember anything about.
The track is LINDA - FIRE.It is the 'SAN FRANCISCO' mix from 1987.
I know absolutely nothing about it,so i was wondering if any of the experets on here could shed some light on this brilliand track.
I've looked on youtube and i found the song but with no additional information.

Yes, the Linda referred to here is Linda Imperial. The record came out at the very end (like the last week) of 1986. I think it probably got lost in the holiday shuffle, because it's a good song and should have been a bigger hit with more exposure than it got.
Here's a link on GEMM - Linda Vinyl Records for Sale - Fire LP
It's around 135bpm, pretty classic hi-nrg.
"Make me believe in you....show me that love can be true...."
I'll have to look for that one. I met Linda Imperial about ten years ago and she was really charming and wonderful in person.
She dies indeed. lindaimperial.com Incidentally she's married to David Freiberg of Quicksilver Messenger Service and Jefferson Airplane/Starship fame.
