Hey guys, I am now writing a small monthly disco blurb (???) / record review on my friend's website, vinyl again, under the articles section. I'd be chuffed if you guys would take a look from time & again and give me some feedback. This week's article is a very um, well, sloppy ode to my fave disco song ever, Let Yourself Go, and a brief intro as to what I love about disco. The main focus of this site is more for house, reggae, roots, r,n,b and soul/funk fans, so I try and give a short intro to the music itself . In coming months I'll be picking a record or two to give some history on and review. Next month will be Patti's "Music Is My Way Of Live" and maybe Frisky or Stargard.

And Remicks, yeah, I first heard the song in 2000. I wasn't more than a twinkly in my daddy's eye when the song was released in 1976.
Dig it out! Fantastic song...it is def my fave, mind you, there can sometimes be a dead heat between that and Frisky's "You've Got Me..." and Shirley Lites and a dozen others...!!!
I am pretty dead set on reviewing Patti's "Music Is My..." in the next column OR Four Below Zero's "My Baby's Got E.S.P". Mind you, I am gonna tone down the effusive style a wee bit!
Any suggestions or song review ideas are welcome.
