What Disco Albums and/or Songs Have You Listened to Lately?

O.K.; I know, this one may have been covered already in the past. If not, then let's light this new thread up. What Disco Albums and/or songs have you listened to lately?

I'll start this one off; right now I have Simon Orchestra in my car CD player. I have also been listening to USA/European Connection (Love's Comin/Come Into My Heart), Arpeggio (Love and Desire Album), French Kiss (Panic), Rice and Beans Orchestra (Crossover Album).

I've really been digging Brass Constructions Conversations Lp from 1982 and the Gap Band self entitled set from 1979 which was not their rare debut but their first at Polydor.

I dig "Walkin' the line", "Easy", and "We can work it out" from the Brass Construction set and "Messin' with my mind" which was a very, very underrated midtempo cut from the Gap Band. It's not on any compilation either.

Actually, there is at least one ongoing thread with the same topic, but here's my $0.02 anyway:

    Side Effect: Always There
    Daddy Dewdrop: The Real Thing
    Caress: Love Spell
    Tempest Trio: Love Machine
Eddie Holman: This Will Be A Night To Remember
    Chicago Gangsters: Gangster Boogie
Metropolis: The Greatest Show On Earth
Quango & Sparky: Do The Boogaloo
    Corniche: Theme from "CHiPs"
    BB&Q Band: Starlette
    Aquarian Dream: Look Ahead
Herbie Hancock: You Bet Your Love
La Bionda: Song For Smokey & The Bandit
Lambchop: Up With People (Zero 7 Suite)

As far as albums go, I've been listening to a few Nerangis/Britton productions lately: Unyque - Makes Me Higher... , Crown Heights Affair - Dance Lady Dance (hot groove!!), and Made in U.S.A.

Aside from those, I've also been enjoying the Goody Goody LP (love the avatar!) and Le Pamplemousse - Sweet Magic-Do You Have Any?

I just got my copy of Eddie Holman's lone Salsoul album as well but haven't played it yet. From the samples, it evenly split between Philly soul ballads and uptempos.:icon_mrgreen:

I listed mine; but neon lights, I have a question; where in the world can I get a CD copy of the "GOODY GOODY" album? If anyone knows, please let me know.

Unfortunately, I don't know where to get an official (or unofficial) CD copy of Goody Goody (unless someone at Warner makes it available )

Not sure if you already have these compilations, but "#1 Dee Jay" and "It Looks Like Love," are included on "Disco Connection" and "Disco Connection, Vol. 2," respectively..

Not the full album, but I suppose it's the next best thing..
