Mixing vinyl with CD's ?

This is a novice question, but I was wondering if it is possible to go from vinyl to a CD when mixing? Are there systems that make the DJ mixing interchangeable yet? Or is it strictly one or the other?

It is of course possible to mix vinyl and Cds, it depends by the mixer outputs. No problems at all. It just takes to connect the Cd deck and the turntable to the mixer and that's all.
