#1 is Pauline Henry (x member of the Chimes) "Happy" on C.B.S. Look out for the album it has some more great cover versions.
#2 I'm pretty sure it's Incognito "Step into My Life".
Hi ,this is my first thread here and I want to start saying hello to all the people from this comunity. Now returning to the title of my thread,I ask your help in identification of two songs ,both recorded and I think released too, between 1992-1993 and 1995-1996.They were on the air on BBC Radio One.Digging on internet I found that the first song is a remake of the original Surface-Happy from 1987.But i'm not interested by the original.I would like to know who play the newer version, and what is the title of this version. For the second song I don't have a clue who's playing or the name of the song.So here are the links with 2 samples:1. Send big files the easy way with sendspace. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!
2. Send big files the easy way with sendspace. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!
Thank you in advance for your help.
PS.Sorry for these long sausages(the links) but it seems this is the way the urls are seen by the forum.Anyway the link will lead you to the right urls.

Tony98 thank you very very very much and god bless you,you helped me how you can't imagine. These songs were two of the bigest misteries from my melomaniac:) life! And it's funny that although I'm an Incognito fan I didn't recognized their musical style and the singer voice. Finally a little correction: starting from your information and searching on allmusic.com I found that the second song is 'Jump to my love' from the album 'Remixed' (in case that someone else is interested of).You were of a huge help to me.Thank you once again. As a final thought ,you have there in Great Britain such good artists only to mention Soul II Soul or James Taylor Quartet(I love acid jazz along r&b,soul, new jack swing, funk etc.)Well, best regards.
