Any one for a Midnight Rendezvous?

Iwas jus listenin to a great disco album that i am sure a few amongst us may or may not know.
the lovely miss Tasha thomas who sadly passed away in 1984.
"Midnight Rendezvous" Mnnn what a sexy offering i love to dance to that with my friends it really gets all the energy goin.

and what can one say about "shoot me with your love".
it is a true classic a very sensual and fun track with a sultry hip swayin action for all of us disco citizens.

I wouldn't miss the Midnight Rendezvous. Maybe one such is not enough, by using two copies of the vinyl you can make the affaire last longer. Also if you add some of Simon Soussan's exotica for extra eastern flavour your party guests will no doubt gyrate even more sensuously. Bells on her fingers, bells on the her toes, she got sweet music wherever she goes...The Romance album has especially good instrumental sections.

I really enjoy this album too.. "Midnight Rendezvous" and "Shoot Me.." are absolutely ace! The stilted French on "..Rendezvous" might make some French speakers cringe, but for me, it just adds to the charm hehe..

The whole Midnight Rendezvous package is a musical treat. The music is top-notch plus Tasha's photo on the front and back shows a beaming, beautiful, trustful smile. You just know this lady is going to give it her all. So sad that she died so early in life.

This album holds one of my most treasured bluesy gems: her rendition of Drinking Again is three minutes of astonishingly passionate vocals and emotion...leaves me breathless each time it ends.
