I don't believe Yvonne was ever romantically linked to a Bee Gee.
Her first husband (Bill Oakes) was an associate producer of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", and executive producer of "Staying Alive".

Here is the original promo 12 inch of Yvonne Elliman's "Love Pains" from 1979 on RSO. This was later reissued by Moby Dick Records in the early 1980s. Elliman was the wife to one of the Gibb brothers of the Bee Gees.

The 1982 Moby Dick 12" put this original version on the B side. The Moby Dick A side was a far superior dance mix re-edited to 7:56. It was one of those remixes that gave a hell of a lot of new life to song which had been pretty good in its first incarnation, and IMO made it fantastically great. I remember at the time this kind of disco was pretty hard to find in our local record shops, the trend having gone to slower and funkier cuts at our local clubs. Moby Dick, Bobby O, and Patrick Cowley suddenly brought back the energy with this record and its contemporaries, and I could be happy again.
