YES, THAT'S RIGHT, THERE IS ENOUGH SUPPORT ON THIS SITE & ENOUGH CONTACTS TO GET THIS UP & RUNNUNG.
DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY WEBSITES THAT CATER FOR LEGAL HI-NRG MP3 DOWNLOADS.
Probably not but it's worth bringing up the question.
Don't know if any HI-NRG producers or label owners are aware of this site or the dozen's of DISCO - HINRG sites popping up all over the internet, but if they are aware of us, it would be nice to have these labels offer they're music up for internet download. I say this because it's ridiculous that after nearly 2 decades there are still no decent & sizeable number of catalogues of HI-NRG on CD, which I'm beginning to discover & there are alot of CD Comp's out there which do not cover enough obscure tracks & at full-length. We don't need fillers as this music has been absent for too long to play around with compilation tracklists.
I think it's time the Underground Labels of the DISCO H-NRG era do what all the current Dance music labels are doing & that's offering up they're music for downloads. I know that alot of label owners are retired, however as long as they are alive (BOBBY 'O' ARE YOU LISTENING?), they will not only be able to get royoalties directly but a whole new generation of clubbers can be able to access this music, not to mention make alot of money out of DIE-HARD DISCO HEADS like myself who are at an age where we can afford to buy CD'S & downloads as opposed to our youth years.
As a DJ of modern Trance & Hard-Dance, there has been an explosion in labels appearing online with they're whole back-catalogues, most notably places like trackitdown.net , juno.co.uk etc, why don't the grandparents! (LOL), of DISCO-HINRG do the same & do us all a favour.
I'm currently in a collecting frenzy & have become so caught up in RETRO HINRG FEVER that I know plan to start-up a RETRO 80'S Night (NO NOT COMMERCIAL 80's but pure pumping DISCO-HI-NRG 80's), The more I can get, the more I promote the labels & artists from the 80's & maybe do my part in helping revive what should've been the most popular jonera of the 80's.
Enough of retro-pop, electro-pop, electro-rock, electro-house, bla, bla, bla, let's bring back the real thing!
I'm sure other Dj's & budding Retro HI-NRG Producers would agree.
What does everybody think!.
