The earliest Bobby O' production that I have is Tod Foster "Dancin'" on Midsong from 1979.
Does anybody around here know if Bobby Orlando is still producing these days. Also I'm keen to know what his first releasrd production was back in the days.

bobby o produced a couple of spanish language records after the 80's....then got out of the business and has written treatises on evolution, debunking the theory that man descended from earlier forms of primates[/quote]
The last tracks Bobby-O produced were done in 1996 (a cd containing those bearly released tracks pops up occasionally on e-bay). After (and even before) that he finished his Law-study, and he is now a lawyer in NY and has retired from the music buisness !
For info and a sleeve-pic of the mentioned cd visit:

Bobby's second song he ever produced was "Mondo Man" by Roni Griffith (her first song ever) including the two b-sides "Hot Lover" and "I Want Your Lovin'" in 1981 released on the Vanguard label.
In '81 Bobby also wrote & co-produced 'Chill Out' by Free Expression on Vanguard records.(co-produced with Danny Weiss of Players association fame).
...ya gotta beat the street......
There is an interesting bio on Bobby Orlando at http://www.globaldarkness.com/articl...rlando_bio.htm. It is an article from The Face 1987, so no recent history but nevertheless a nice read.
Bobby O is now a lawer? It is interesting info. In Japan especially She Has A Way from circa 1982 was very much popular. I was a high school student back then and often listened to his tunes in Disco here. :)Originally Written by react010
I wonder if his early time tune Dancin' is available on CD...
