fellow old-timers ...this is one that probably can only be solved by you :pre disco

....I heard this song on the radio
that is more of a pop/rock spiritual song ... .. from the early seventies ? ....I am only guessing

It has an underlying repetitive churning sound ..... a little bit like THAT'S WHERE THE HAPPY PEOPLE GO ..... so imagine that bass line underneath the following:

Male vocal lead singing (with backup behind )

    See the light
    Let it shine
    Shine the light
    light on meeee

    Then :

    Feelin' good
    Knew I would

    ____________? .... ever since (maybe ? )
    You set me free

I was impressed by how disco-ish in it's overall tone it was ....

    Anybody ??????? :icon_rolleyes: :icon_question: ...thanks !

Thanks ! Marmite .....:icon_biggrin: ..........Santana ......really? Never would've come up with that on my own ....and 1976 ... I was thinking from it's sound .... this song was one from right about 1970 .....:icon_rolleyes:

I'll take your word for it and seek it out .....can't really tell from this intro sample ........ which has quite a funky groove ....

    Amazon.com: Amigos: Music: Santana
