Did anyone listen to the opening # on the Golden Globes? The first presenter George Clooney was ready to shake his booty to the sound. Anyone know where the jam came from? Dreamgirls maybe?

Yep....Dreamgirls! It's the Eric Kupper and Richie Jones mix of One Night Only...one of my peak-hour floor fillers.

I'm not familiar with that one. Are they listed as the artist on the label? When is it from?

The mix is fairly recent...released on vinyl last fall however, you can find it now on the Deluxe Edition of the Dreamgirls soundtrack. The artist on 12" single is listed as Deena Jones and the Dreams but the main vocal is Beyonce (and the only Beyonce song that I have ever liked :icon_rolleyes: ).

We don't get to watch the GG's over here so I can't comment on that but my wife told me that last months there are many old Disco hits played on teleprograms.

Maybe there finally is a backlash on all that Crap bull! (I simply can't stand it anymore when somebody starts wabbling idiocies over a beat! I'm fed up hearing it, FED UP I tell ya!)

Except for YPJ & FVC(The Jesus People) who are spreading the Gospel via Rapmusic! That's cool!

The "Dreamgirls" hype isn't happening here yet. I'm curious if it will attract audiences in Europe. I've seen the trailers and I'm not convinced yet.

Can you believe it: TGIF isn't even in the shops over here! No way to order it (only via Amazon etc.)
