D.C LaRue--"Hot Jungle Drums And Voodoo Rhythm"

Did a 12" version of this song ever come out?? The only place I've seen it is on "A Night At Studio 54" double LP. It's a great song, I might add. :D

I've got a one-sided Canadian 12" with a version that clocks in at 9:16. Catalog # is Pyramid PD 1009, and unusually for the time, it's in a custom sleeve.

The version on Casablanca is Catalog # NBD 20183. The b-side is On With The Dance, both from the Forces Of The Night album.

Not certain if this version went commercial as my 12" is a promo.

I've got the one-sided promo of this and I'd be happy to trade it if you're interested. I think it's crap (far too fast, not funky etc.). Give me 'Do You Want The Real Thing' or 'Cathedrals' any day!

Speaking of Mr. (AC/) D.C. LaRue's oeuvre...I'm partial to that early 80's Disconet remix of his "Deep, Dark Delicious Night"; maybe it was the drugs,..... but I had a "profoundly deep and meaningful experience" dancing to this one night at Trocadero. I couldn't exactly tell ya what happened ..but it was fairly meaningful and real deep (Yeah, I'm stealing from Miss Mildew).
