I play music through my Tivo and stereo system. The Tivo does not recognize the wma format. I have no idea why they make it so hard for us to use music we purchase the rights to. It's really annoying but such tools as Soundtaxi conveter really save the day. Convert DRM Music: Copy protected WMA music to MP3, iPod and other MP3 players
So how do you deal with this issue?
Cheers :)
Except for the odd iTunes store exclusive, I don't buy music in protected DRM formats.
Have to agree with Sandman, the fact that DRM makes it impossible to use legally purchased music is absolutely incredible.![]()
Only a few tools come to help with this problem: SoundTaxi, MusicStacker, Tunebite, etc.
I for one use the last one, cause it also can convert video files also. It's easy to use and user friendly, but I don't understand why go through all these processes if I paid for something (in this case the music/video files).
There is a software "NoteBurner" from Virtual CD-RW burner converts any audio or music to MP3, WAV, WMA which using virtual CD-RW burner to convert protected/ unprotected music files to plain MP3.
