DJ Nelson "Paradise" Roman who is involved with several hustle dance events in New York just sent me a note about an upcoming program on Disco that will air on the History Channel. Nelson is also interviewed for a segment.

After the trauma of Vietnam, the disillusionment of Watergate, and the shock of the oil crisis, the boomer generation was in a bit of a funk. But spilling from the underground scene of New York City, a new beat called Disco burst onto the scene. An irreverent response to the gloom of the early 70s, Disco provided the tempo for a universal soundtrack of the "Me" generation. Steve Gillon hosts.
