I recently found a French version of this by Celine Dion, called Delivre-Moi - anyone know which came first - celine or EG Daily?

I've recently rediscovered PAUL PARKER's version.
I quite like it.

There was also a rip-off of the instrumental with new lyrics, called Love in the night, I think by VHF on Record Shack records (not sure of this....don't have my records handy). Not bad, but certainly not as good as EG Daily's version, which is classic IMO.

Interesting, I'd be curious to get more info on that.
E.G. Daily updated the song and re-released it on Jellybean records in 2001 as well. It's a nice modernization though it doesn't have quite the impact of the original.

Here's what I can tell you -- just a tad slower, maybe 2 or 3 bpm, with bland male vocals. Other than that you'd have to hear it for yourself.

I adore the EG Daily version, IMO one of the best Hi-NRG track ever.
Also like her other one "Mind Over Matter"
