Sh%& I can't believe it! (sorry for swearing). I mean, without him, this message board wouldn't even exist. He was and always will be the original disco man.
The godfather of soul was indestructible. This will be one of the worst christmas' for me.
Some people might roll their eyes at how much I'm praising the guy. He certainly wasn't a saint. But man...I LOVE funk and disco music. And he was THE definition of funk. Every dance oriented music that came after him, whether it be disco, rap, electro-funk, house, even garbage like Britney Spears or N Sync owes it all to James Brown for discovering 'the one'.
RIP Brother Brown. There will never be another like you... :(
