    James Brown R.I.P

Suppose you all heard by now.... Soul legend James Brown has died from Pneumonia. I know he is not regarded as a "disco" artist but his music greatly influenced many of todays top soul/disco/dance artists & producers.
A top class performer who was respected the world over. He also greatly influenced the change in attitudes to ethnic minorities during the 1960s.
A tragic loss to the world of music.

Here's a link to a clip from a late 70s documentary where James shows off his moves. The guy was in his mid 40s in that doc and he was moving better and badder than guys half his age. Amazing...

JB never lost a beat, even recently before he was ill he could still drop in a double split! I don't care what anyone says, James Brown was, is, and always will be the hardest working man in show business, that's a fact, Jack!!!

Thank you for this wonderful gift and talent you've shared with us all. It will truly evolve to be an ongoing art and practice to music contributors under your name forever. Godspeed.

Just want to add my condolances..
Saw the news on Ceefax, and had to immediately play the Best of CD...SOOOO damn funky...and what a dancer...he made the main news lead on some of the UK TV stations, but most of the footage was of more recent times.
    RIP
