Trying To Find Boris Midney Info

Hello I am a fan of all of Boris Midneys music and songs like the girl groups he has US-Europe Connection, Beautiful Bend, and The Masquerade and other stuff. Who on earth anyone at all can tell me more about Boris M. Where was he born When was he born and where is he living nowadays. Was he ever married or divorced. What is his astrological sign. Can you please post any photos of him. The only photos Ive ever seen of him are the one on his Empire Strikes Back album from 1980 and the one on his Anthology CD from about 1999. Have there ever been any magazine interviews from him. I dont mean just record reviews. Thanks

You're not the only one desperate for info on Boris! The closest I ever got to him was in the year 1999 when I got into contact with the boss of Miami based Hot! label, who told me he knows Boris well, and that he is a very private person who does not want to be interviewed. I tried and tried, to no avail. Sigh.
Anyway, Boris Midney is apparently of Russian origin, check out his fab "Black Russian" album/cd. The last most people have heard of him were via a couple of very good trance cds.
Hopefully someone here can provide more detailed info of the Maestro.

I don't know if this is on the bio from his Anthology CD, but several months back I found some interesting info on Boris' background..

Apparently in 1964 Boris and fellow musician Igor Berukshtis defected from the soviet vaudeville group they were travelling to the US embassy in Tokyo.. Once in the US, they became part of a group called the Russian Jazz Quartet, who released one album on the Impulse label called "Happiness" in 1965..
