    Hey,

You didn't tell us if it was male or female.

It is familiar and is frustrating me. I thought it was Teena Marie, but I'm not sure which song. I Need Your Lovin'?

Help me guys. Lyrics that come to mind are like "Ain't no way...." right in the middle part.

No no, there's no voice in this song. It's only instrumental.

Here's another version in a better quality and believe me...I'm trying hard to be accurate. I can say it's played by electric guitar and synth.

I'm probably way off here, but it is starting to remind of the song, For Those Who Like To Groove by Raydio (a.k.a. Ray Parker Jr. and Raydio), which is a funky and excellent instrumental from around 1980. It's on the CD Monster Jams. This CD has a sound samples at Amazon-U.S. | Amazon-U.K.

The arrangement is very similar but it's not "For those who like to groove". I just checked. However, I'm sure it's the same author. Any idea?

    I FOUND IT!

    Still in the Groove
    Ray Parker Jr. and Raydio

    Thanks a lot, Bernie.
