Ace (British rock group from 70s)

What a surprise :icon_eek: , the kraftwerkzed Lipps Inc song ''How Long'' was originally recorded by Ace :icon_eek:

Well, your freinds with their fancy persuasion
Don't' admit that it's part of a scheme
But I can't help but have my suspicion
'Cause I ain't quite as dumb as I seem

Well, you said you were never intending
To break up our scene in this way
But there ain't any use in pretending
It could happen to us any day

How long has this been goin' on

Never heard Ace's version, but I always liked the Lipps Inc. track from the get-go.

I did see Ace live a couple of times in the 70's and they were good. The lead singer Paul Carrack later replaced Phil Collins in Genesis.

    Ditto x 2!

Paul Carrick also had a nice solo career in the early 80's.

I've heard some good, somewhat recent remixes of the original How Long - wish I could think of who did them...
