Song Title "Shine"? Sort of feels like Chic

Hi Gang,

I was in a store today that had the radio playing.

There was an R&B mid-tempo song with a black(?) male voice singing something about "time to shine" and then repeating "shine".

It had a very Chic groove to it and sounded early 80's.

Any thoughts on what it might be?

It sounds to me like the new Luther Vandross single "Shine" one of the mixes has a 70''s guitar sample in it.

Sounds like they sampled My Forbidden Lover.
