This sounds like the JDC Mixer from 1983, but I'll need to dig this one out and play it to make sure.
Hi guys,
This is my first post.:icon_surprised:
I'm looking for an medley/mix from the 78-81 era, it's similar from the "Stars on 45" medley but it's previous than those ones.
What I remember is, between the songs on the medley, a male voice says "one one two two three three four four".
Any hint? Please please?
Thank you

I think it's Bits and Pieces III aka the Let's Do It Medley.
It is the basis for Stars On 45.
This is it on ebay: eBay: BITS & PIECES III~80s MEDLEY~SPECIAL DISCO MIXER~RARE (item 190052931902 end time Nov-24-06 13:49:22 PST)
We recently discussed this here. Here is the link to the forum:

I have the Bits & Pieces #3 infront of me now Side A.8:30 Side B.16:35 Made in Canada. There must be quite a few copies around as it sold well.
Probably nothing to do with what you're looking for ...but the Brooklyn Express tune "69" falls in the right time period, and contains the vocal "one, one, two, two, three, three, four, four".
Just checked my Bits & Pieces #3 but there's no 1234 intro. I'm pretty sure it's on either #1 or #2 then, i have them somewhere but i havent played them in over 20 years so finding them will be a problem.
Thank you guys for the feedback, I appreciatte all the answers.
I hope I could be sure that's one of those.
I just dug out my copy of the JDC Mixer I mentioned earlier and it has the 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4 to serve as an edit between every 4-5 songs. It is mainly percussive instrumental segments with a few vocals portions thrown in. Great mixer. It finishes off with a cold echo of "Flashlight" by Rofo.
The JDC Mixer was a series, but I bought my copy in 1984 and it does not have a volume number so I assume it is the first one JDC released.
The full title is: The JDC Mixer - 7 Years of Disco/Dance Music - 12 Minutes of Non-Stop Energy
I'll add this one to the Disco Record Vault in a little bit with a scan of the label.

Hi Hercopulus:
It seems to be Alto Passion - Let's do it in the 80's.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Hessel.
PS: Check your Private Message (PM).
The "Bits and Pieces III " or "Let's do it" Medley does include the 1-1-2-2-3-3-4-4 through out the medley (Taken from the "Shangaied" song by 'Lectric Funk) the first half including clips by Kano, Spinners, Gino Soccio, Sparks, Lipps, Heatwave, SOS Band and ending with a instrumental bit by Sparkle's "Handsome man" before moving into a Beatles medley that was indeed the inspiration for "Stars on 45" that came later, here you also get a few other 60's hits by Frankie Valley, Paul Anka, Roy Orbison, and others and then ending with the James Brown's JBS "Doing it to death." This medley was popular because they included a back beat with claps that hid the edits and was easy to dance to.
After a few clips I don’t recall it opens with "Hey you don't touch that, watch this! Over a constant beat, I think this was taken from a Buggles Wave record.
I must admit when i played Bits & Pieces #3 yesterday i only listened to the intro .The opening track on it "Hey you don't touch that" is from a U.K. band Madness "Night Boat To Cairo".
I've had second thoughts on the Madness sample featured on Bits & Pieces #3 it's "One Step Beyond".
I found this page showing different bits & pieces versions for the #3, one of those is the Alto Passion.
