Although I have been very busy and haven't been able to explain certain things, I hope to take this moment to update everyone on some items.
The new forums have been a major hit with almost everyone. There have been some growing pains I know, but it is all for the better. The new categories allow you to go straight to what you want and encourages more postings. And how it certainly has. More posts are getting the time of day and more replies. Thanks for everyone's patience during the transition.
As I mentioned a few times since the new forum went up, I will be making all kinds of changes and tweaks to the forum as we go along. A few have been to get rid of a lot of old or inappropriate posts like the infamous "me too" or one word replies and duplicate posts...
Many have noticed that their ranks went down because of this, but there was no way around that. From now on to conserve space and resources I will delete older song ID requests that have been answered, concert events that have passed and political and/or religious posts of any kind. Starting immediately, the Discuss Non-Music topic is for "Entertainment" posts only such as radio, films, TV... and not political or religious discourse. This is not talk radio, so you can go elsewhere for that.
A lot of posts have been moved within their respective category so do get to know all the categories and explore and possibly reopen some older posts.
I hope everyone is enjoying the new forum and although I can not reply to everyone, I do welcome your suggestions. Thank you!

Well Bernie, all I can say is good onya mate :D ! With the removal and banning of religious/politics posts there will be no more flame wars and this forum will be one happy forum again :D . These religious/politics posts have caused nothing but flame wars anyway, glad to see the back of them.Bernie wrote:
