"Shout it to the top" is a knockout track, i was lucky enough to get a 12" promo db/le pack sent to me at that time. The original Style Council version is worth a mention as well.

the original is one of my absolute favorites with all those sweeping strings and the brisk beat. I thought the lead vocal could have been stronger. I first heard it on the soundtrack to a movie called "Vision Quest."

In one of the bars i work in the manager is a Paul Weller fanatic and he always complains if i play the Fire Island version. to shut him up i play right after that one of his all time favourites Double Exposure "Everyman" (Joe Claussell mix)
