I've managed to steal a couple of hours this week and have been listening to the following...
The Lone Ranger - Quantum Jump
Money in my Pocket - Dennis Brown
Chase - Giogio Moroder
Keep on Dancing - Gary's Gang
Let's Lovedance Tonight - Gary's Gang
Everybody Get Up - UK Players
Wait Until Tonight - Phil Fearon & Galaxy
Livin' it Up (Friday Night) - Bell and James
H.A.P.P.Y. Radio - Edwin Starr
Pop Muzik - M
Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet = Gonzales
The Number One Song in Heaven - Sparks
(Everybody) Get Dancing - Bombers
Soup for One - Chic
Mellow Mellow Vol 2 CD
Heavy Vibes- Montana (Thanks Bernie!)
I remember most of them well. The Bombers has to be one of my faves together with Bell & James, which was a monster for me back in the day. Montana's 'Heavy Vibes' is one of a very few records that has grown on me over the years even though I played it a lot. Shame about the poor mastering that lead to all the sibilance on some of the percussion though.
That Lone Ranger track was a weird record eh? Iffy lyrics or what?
