the remix is on T.K. records, it's a 12" single TKD - 153
It's the best version i think, Randy Sills did the remix, and the 12" features an instrumental version on the B - side.
DJ Harvey, Dimitri From Paris amongst others, are playing this one now.
I have a recording of Daddy Dewdrop's "The Real Thing", clocking in at 7:40, which I don't know where it was originally recorded from. The "Meet the beat" LP-version is way shorter (3:20), and the T.K. disco 12" single version is only 5:51. Does anyone know which remix is 7:40, and which label it was pressed on, if any? Thanks for your help...

Hello Chris-I was reminded of this great sleaze track
this past year while listening to my "remember the
troc party" set from 05'(I think)I scrambled through my
record collection to no avail-it was one of those "I know
I have this!" but didn't.Anyways,I got it off of Ebay and
made sure I got the 7:40 mix on TK-it was remixed by
Randy Sills after the 1st 12" was released. That's all I
got-I don't know any other info.Hope this helps Chris
Thom
Both Daddy Dewdrop versions appear in the TK Records Discography just as the disco kid correctly posted earlier.
