Thanks - one must always do the tropicale.
Suba and Belen Gilberto are exquisite.
Possibly. Anyway, Boodi, Jussi, this site says it has rare stuff. You might find it interesting.

Thanks for the link, Lean! I see you have an interest in Brasiliero music....please email me anytime to discuss it. I would love it!

"The Romans are coming? Let's kill about 70,000 or so......"
OK Boodi. You've got me on this one or I wasn't paying attention in history. Is this a quote from someone other than yourself?
Find them and destroy them!
Hi Paul! Thr historical Boodikka (Boudacea) and her Iceni troops killed about 70,000 Romans during the 60/61 AD revolt....that is a high number of casualties for any campaign during the Julio-Claudian period, or any period of antiquity! Boudacea ROCKED (Joan of Arc was a wimp)!

Thanks Boodi.
Now that's something that would make a intersting movie.

But would you want Luc Besson to direct the film? Personally I loved his Joan of Arc which many seemed to think was a disaster.
Hi Paul and Jussi, there really hasn't ever been a great film about Boudacea. Strange, considering her importance in both Roman and British history. I believe Sybil Danning made some direct-to-video thing in the mid '80s. They had the character on Xena, but that was pure parody. Luc Bresson could direct a good version, I am sure, but if Milla Jojovich came anywhere NEAR the set, I would personally disembowel her.

Now that Sybil Danning film sounds intriquing - I've been a loyal fan since I first got a full eyeful in DAS URLAUBSREPORT - WAS DIE MÄNNER NICHT MÖGLICH HALTEN. - You're right about Milla, she can carry a shampoo ad but casting her as Joan of Arc was just too..French. I did love the film, don't get me wrong, but Milla of course is just another nymphet that tickled a Gallic fancy - they have a time honoured tradition giving pouting "actresses" like her getting big roles. Ah, but this is supposed to be a post connected with music so I better take my bow here.
