Memorial:ID artist and title "the times are changing"?

Before I give the a sample of the lyrics, I would like to explain my project. I had a very good DJ friend here in Toronto (Wally Mcdonald, who did the remix of La Bamba for Antonia Rodriguez) he died from AIDS several years ago. I have most of his masters and I'm converting them into CDs to give to his family as a memorial. My problem is that Wally never used play lists. After much research I've complied most of the song titles and artists (hundreds of them)but I'm still missing quite alot. I need to pick your brains. Having said that here is the first set of lyrics

Ah, this post explains it all. Sorry to hear about Wally McDonald--I enjoyed his work over the years ("Follow Me", "La Bamba" etc.).

I figured you were somehow connected to a heavyweight...cause the clues were excellent...BUT the songs waaaaaaaay OBSCURE.

Maybe someone here will help. I personally have no clue.
