I have a 12" of it, i'm not sure how long it is i'll check tomorrow.
Just heard Luther Vandross You're the sweetest one and had forgotten what a mighty fine dance track it is. Does anybody know if it ever made it onto extended 12" ? I don't think so, but I've been constantly surprised on here when people turn up gems I was not aware of.

My favourite Luther dance track is the long mix of "Til my baby comes home" the gospel organ in it is sensational.
I found my 12" of "You're the sweetest one" it's the album version 4:47
'Better Love' is another classy track from that '82 LP. 8-)
...ya gotta beat the street......
Thanks all
I know pretty much all of Luther Vandross' stuff bar the pre solo 'Luther' group (not Change)stuff. But I had forgotten about some of his great dance numbers. I am also re-discovering 'I wanted your love' and 'For the sweetness of your love'. I shall have to go pull out some more.
I have both Luther albums on Cottilion , the original version of "Dont wanna be a fool" is worth the price of the album.
I wish they had released those Cotillion LP's on CD. I haven't looked recently but I know they were usually quite expensive whenever I saw them. I think I read somewhere that Luth did not want them re-released, so I guess although I would love to have them on CD it would be disrespectful if the record company did now release them after his demise. Although I might be in a dilema if they did. On the other hand I could be mistaken in my recollection of him not wanting them released.
