I'm seeking the title of a track that Rochelle Fleming released in about 1987 (pretty sure it came out after "Love Itch"). I've looked at some web discographies and cannot find the track listed, so either there is a giant conspiracy going on or my memory really is bad and it wasn't by Rochelle Fleming after all. All I remember is that there was a long (13 mins?) version of the track. I thought it was fabulous at the time - I heard it a few times on Stu Allan's "Souled Out" and "All Night Beat" programmes on Manchester's Piccadilly Radio, which might be familiar to some of you who live in the UK.
Would be grateful if anyone can provide a title.
Cheers.
Okay, I searched some more and have found the title but am now very confused.
The track title is "I Know Just What You're After". (Would love to hear it again. Where the hell is audiogalaxy when you need it?)
However, there are very few references to the track on google (about, and half of them seem to refer to an artist called "Roschelle Fleming".
Is this the same misprint appearing in more than one place, or is there really an artist called "Roschelle Fleming"?
Cheers.
I meant "about 8"
So let's see if we go clear all this: Rochelle Fleming DID a track called "Love itch" in 1985 on Prelude Record (PRL D 700),with a very distinctive acapella intro used a lot on modern house tracks, but the longest version that I'm aware is 7.46 (vocal mix), so if there are some unofficial mixes (disconet etc.)I'm not sure. Please notice that there is also an AMAZING cover by Sonya Roche on Cooltempo UK around 1991 that give a disco-house boost to the track, but keeps the original whisper-sung feel.
