    When I saw the Subject Caption I thought you meant the GROUP, Dynasty.....:sad:.....But Dynasty the TV series - could any show in the 80s be any Gayer?.....other than perhaps, Golden Girls!...

    Lots of great choices listed, Sirius......
    I, for one, liked Al Corley's "Square Rooms" - woulda been a more fitting choice for the new theme song for Hollywood Squares as opposed to the one they opted for (Teena Marie's "Square Biz").

    Like Danceman did, I thought the topic was about the group called Dynasty! :lol:
    I never was a fan of Dynasty (the series). I was more into Dallas.

    Anyway, Sirius, your list has several intriguing (obscure) tracks to me!!
    Now, they are part of my 'tracks-to-hunt' list!

    also love the Combo DYNASTY. Some faves of
    them for me:1)I Don´t Wanna Be A Freak
    2)Satisfied
    3I´ve Just Begun To Love You
    About obscur tracks...there are a lot of
    them ... endless listing, esp. from France,
    Germany or Italy. Next time I will try to
    describe them...
    About AL CORLEY: "Square Rooms" was a big
    hit in the early NewWaveEra in Germany and
    Austria. As I know AL was also door-policy
    at 54. He had a relationship to Carly Simon?

    I thought it might be the Dynasty group too. I loved that album with I've Just Begun To Love You. Two other good tracks were Do Me Right and Icebreaker.

    Does anyone remember them?

    I remember all their songs, but I never heard of ICEBREAKER...sounds like a good title for the kind of songs they did tho....I also liked, "Love In The Fast Lane," and "Here I Am."

    "Square Rooms" is perhaps one of my all time favorite songs. The sound and effects are awesome. When I listen to it I feel in the 80s again.

    Is Al Corley still around?

    I found this on the web, it's a site dedicated ot Dynasty and has pics of Al Corley. I didn't know he was also an actor. Was Al the gay brother in Dyansty?

    Yep, Al Corley played the gay Steven Carrington on "Dynasty" for the first season (1981-82). Then he left (or was fired--I think he actually wanted out) and was replaced by Jack Coleman. Corley had several dance singles, thereafter and then faded into oblivion.

    Earlier in his career, Corley was a doorman or something at Studio 54, as was reported in the VH-l special about 54, and I think he did have a romance with Carly Simon (she coulda been Carly Corley!!!) at some point.

    Where is he now??? Selling insurance??? :razz:
