Is there an extended version of "Dance Little Dreamer" by Bionic Boogie? The only version I have been able to find is a short three minute version.

Nope. Even the promo 12" only has the album version. Too bad, it's such a great track, and would've worked well as an extended number.

    Hello

Dance Little dreamer is one of my favourites too, together with Fess Up To The Boogie, Hot Butterfly, This Side Of Midnight and Fancy Dancer. The Album Starcruiser was a big success here in my country with 3 songs massively playing in the radio (and discos of course). The other albums did ok too, but not like this one. Andrea True first one was also a smash.

As far as I can remember only Hardware was not a success (it was not released here). Is this his last album? Does anybody have any information? Greg Diamond is fantastic. Does anyone know what he's been doing?

    Thanks

    Paulo

That album is one of my all-time favorites. Of course, everyone here already knows that.

Sadly, Gregg Diamond died two years ago. He was a great producer, songwriter, and drummer. I'm still wondering what he did from the Bionic Boogie era to his death. I'm guessing that he was still active in music.

By the way, I also like "Dance Little Dreamer", though my favorite Bionic Boogie song is "Hot Butterfly".

Gregg Diamond's death is on the level of the deaths of George Harrison, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, and Joey Ramone as far as I'm concerned. Another tragic loss in the music world.

    Hello Outsider:

Thank you for this information. I didn't know Greg Diamond had died. I only bought my computer very recently and this kind of "news" is impossible to get in the normal press magazines (unless you are a rock star). Anyway... I am very sorry to hear about his death.

Do you have any more information about the causes of his death?

I guess now that he is dead we won't have his albums re-released on CD anymore. I was expecting them to be re-released on CD with 12" bonus tracks.

    Thank you

    Paulo

Gregg Diamond died from gastrointestinal bleeding at age 49 on March 14, 1999. My favorite GD track will always be "Danger"
