Yup, very good song and nothing like "Little Bit of Jazz." "Leaving..." was released as a 12" UK import on CBS.

This is a nice piece of music. Mine, like Bernie's, is on CBS (UK). The time is 6:03. What label is the Canadian release with the extra minute-plus?

the copy i have is on epic, but looks a little different than the usual epic releases in the usa. at the bottom of the label is printed manufactured by cbs records canada.
side one is "leaving on a midnight train" 7:26, disco mix dominique zgarka/rio records
side two is "a little bit of jazz" 5:24

It appears there are two versions.

I went into Google and typed the title and this is what came up.

CAN 12 Nick Straker Band * Leavin On A Midnight Train 7:26 RX

ENG 12 Nick Straker Band * Leaving On A Midnight Train 6:03 RX

The version I own is on Razormaid.
